The organisation of a megarefit is a complex business, but our expert concierge and crew services are here to make it more straightforward.
Our expert concierge and customer care service teams are ready to help you with all of your requests during your refit.
Whether you need accommodation for 20 or 30 people for six months, or a dedicated transfer shuttle to take the whole crew home for the evening and bring them back to the yard at the start of the following day, we have every solution for you, also organizing transfers to airports, cities or the Côte d’Azur for single travellers or groups.
Amico & Co offers short-stay lets in villas and flats near the shipyard and also has very competitive rates with city centre hotels. We also assist contractors with accommodation and travel arrangements during their stay and particularly in these more challenging times we are able to offer you and your visitors and contractors in-house antigenic Covid testing.
If you require catering, whether short or long-term, we can organize lunch or dinner deliveries on board, even for a large number of crew, with a menu that changes daily. Alternatively we can find a nearby restaurant to satisfy your needs and match your budget, and of course we are ready to find you a bespoke catering solution should you have particular time or dietary requirements.
Our project assistants can help you organize containers and storage, dedicated warehousing, deliveries and anything else that is necessary to make your stay as productive and smooth as possible.

ExploreAmico shuttle
A couple of years ago, we introduced a great new way of making Genoa town centre feel just that bit closer to the shipyard – Amico shuttle. The shuttle runs a non-stop central circuit between the shipyard, dry-docks and the various port entrances and the city centre after working hours and can take up to 8 people at a time, making it easier for crews to return to their rented accommodation or frequent sport facilities and enjoy the nightlife in the vibrant Genoa city centre. Amico Shuttle runs non-stop, so at most in 15-20 minutes it is back at the yard, but it can be called handily by WhatsApp and later on can be called for pick-up in the same way. In the first season, we transported more than six thousand crew members!
Italian Experience for yacht crew in Genoa
Italian Experience is a hospitality project created by Amico & Co and yacht & ship agent Pesto Sea Group, allowing crews to make the most of their Italian experience, with Genoa city as the starting point either for local hospitality adventures or team-building excursions, such as cookery lessons, wine tours to the Langhe or Tuscany, hiking on the Portofino mountain and beyond, watersports and MTB tours in the Ligurian countryside, plus skiing or snowboarding trips to the nearby Alps.
Developed based on our experience of what crews like to do while they are here, but above all on our personal experience of what is great to do here in Liguria and around, Italian Experience invites crews to enjoy the great quality of life that one can have being based here in Genoa. Bespoke packages can be created to keep crews motivated and make sure that they enjoy their stay. As well as fun things to do, like shopping trips to Milan or to see the Champions League or Premiership matches, there are also team-building activities proposed, such as archery at the Genoa forts, winter kayaking or paddle boarding, city or Riviera orienteering games and MTB experiences in nearby Finale Ligure. The sky is the limit!

Amico & Co S.p.A. has received financial support from the EU to carry out investment programmes, both in 2017, thanks to a grant application made on 5.12.2016 pursuant to Action 3.1.1 of the POR FESR LIGURIA 2014-2020 with the purpose of extending the production facility buildings, machinery and equipment as well as in 2021 for business digitization and for adapting production processes due to Covid 19.
