S.p.A. “Given the vocation of Genoa as the Capital of the Sea, we have always invested in the capacity to welcome and manage superyachts and megayachts. The management of these yachts that choose the Mediterranean and our Waterfront Marina is just the latest example. Together with the organisers of The Ocean Race, we share a respect for the oceans that for us means a commitment to cleaner processes and to the creation of an economic ecosystem that is perfectly compatible with the surrounding territory, capable of generating value and wealth and of qualifying the city, also in terms of environmental sustainability’.
During the event, which will run in Amico & Co’s Waterfront Marina, which will be rechristened Ocean Live Park, Amico & Co will present the path that it is taking towards cleaner processes to the public on the 27th June, publishing its first Sustainability Report, the result of a process of context analysis and stakeholder involvement. The document, drawn up voluntarily according to the guidelines of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), aims to provide a transparent picture of company performance and future goals.
Genoa the Grand Finale will welcome the Ocean Race boats with a major event and from 24th June to 2nd July 2023, the Ocean Live Park will attract sportsmen, sailors and lovers of the sea from all over Italy and beyond.
