Position 1: PROJECT MANAGER

Objective and overview
Reporting to the Director of Project Management, the Project Manager will handle various maintenance/refit & repair projects with differing duration and complexity.

Responsibilities
• The Project Manager is responsible for every aspect of the assigned project, from yacht arrival in the shipyard up to her departure and will be the person of reference for the vessel.
• The Project Manager deals directly with clients (yacht managers, captains, Owners and crew) together with the supervisors of the in-house departments (joinery & interiors, engineering, metal, painting and surface preparation workshops) as well as with subcontractors. His/her task is to coordinate all the works to be performed on board, respecting the delivery time and all safety rules.
• The Project Manager is also responsible, supported by an assigned Project Assistant, for the contractual and administrative side of the project: preparation and signature of the contract, SAL, work orders, invoices and everything necessary to accomplish the project.

Employment Conditions and Work Environment
• Full-time position (From Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 12:00 and from 13:00 to 18:00, Saturday from 8:00 to 12:00)
• Contract & Annual salary to be discussed depending on experience and preparation

• You will join a passionate team of Project Managers who encourage collaboration and support. The Project Manager will refer directly to the Director of Project Management. The Project Manager will refer directly to the Director of Project Management.
• Office location in Genoa or Loano (if required)
• You will have the opportunity to work for one of the top worldwide refit and repair centres catering for super and megayachts.

Desired profile
• Master Degree in Naval Architecture & Marine Engineering (or equivalent)
• 25/30 years old or older only if having a consolidated experience in the yachting field.
• A minimum of one year of relevant professional experience in the naval field (preferably in yachting)
• An excellent command of Italian, spoken and written, and fluent level of English, spoken and written.

Key competencies
• An individual with strong problem solving and organizational skills
• A team player, who shows excellent interpersonal skills and acts with integrity and confidence
• Someone who has demonstrated flexibility and versatility at work.

Position 2: ENGINEERING PROJECT MANAGER

Objective and overview
Reporting to the Director of Engineering Department, the Engineering Project Manager will handle various projects with differing duration and complexity.

Responsibilities
• The Engineering Project Manager is responsible and the reference person of every engineering aspect referred to the project assigned from the yacht arrival in the shipyard since her departure.
• The Project Manager deals directly with clients (yacht managers, captains or chief engineers), as well as with subcontractors and the Project Manager in charge. His/her task is to coordinate all the engineering works to be performed on board respecting delivery time and all safety rules.

• Full-time position (From Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 12:00 and from 13:00 to 18:00, Saturday from 8:00 to 12:00)

Position 3: PROJECT ASSISTANT

Objective and overview
Reporting to the Director of Project Management and to the Senior Project Assistant, the Project Assistant will handle various maintenance/refit & repair projects with differing duration and complexity.

Responsibilities
• The Project Assistant is the reference person for the contractual and administrative aspects regarding the assigned project, from the yacht’s arrival in the shipyard up until her departure.
• The Project Assistant deals directly with clients (yacht managers, captains, Owners and crew) together with the team of Project Managers, the Supervisors of the in-house workshops and with external subcontractors. Her/his task is to prepare shipyard contracts and all related documents, WIP, work orders and purchase order requests, through the purchase department.
• The Project Assistant is in charge of project accounts, including receivable invoicing, payment reminders, as well as preparing and filing all the project correspondence.

Employment Conditions and Work Environment
• Full-time position (From Monday to Friday from 8:30 to 18:30, 2 hour lunchbreak)
• This contract is a maternity substitution
• Annual salary to be discussed, depending on experience and preparation
• Pleasant and dynamic work environment
• She/he will work with a team of Project Assistants and 10 Project Manager will refer directly to the Director of Project Management and to the Senior Project Assistant.
• Office location in Genoa

Desired profile
• Master Degree in Foreign Languages, Economics or equivalent
• 25/30 years old or older only if having a consolidated experience in the yachting field.
• A minimum of one year of relevant professional experience in office environments dealing with foreign trade.
• An excellent command of Italian, spoken and written, and fluent level of English, spoken and written.

Key competencies
• An individual, preferably female, with strong problem solving and organizational skills
• Someone able to work in team who has demonstrated flexibility and versatility at work.

Position 4: ELECTRICIAN

Objective and overview
Reporting to the Supervisor of Electrical Workshop, the candidate will deal with various electrical works on board and in the yard, differing in duration and complexity.

• Full-time position (From Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 17:00, 1 hour lunch break)
• Contract & Annual salary to be discussed, depending on experience and preparation
• He/she will work with a team of Electricians and will refer directly to the Supervisor
• Location in Genoa

Desired profile
• 20/25 years old or older only if having a at least 1-year experience in the electrical field (preferably in the yachting or naval industry)
• An excellent command of Italian, spoken and written, and at least an elementary level of spoken English

Position 5: PAINTING AND SURFACE TREATMENT PROJECT MANAGER

Objective and overview
Reporting to the Supervisor of the Painting workshop, this figure will deal with various painting and surface treatment works on board and in the yard, differing in duration and complexity.
.

Responsibilities
• Managing all technical & contractual aspects relative to painting or surface treatment works: case studies, intervention technical specification, quality and guarantee standards, as support to the quoting process.
• The Painting Project Manager handles directly with clients (yacht managers, captains, Owners and crew) and gives support to surveyors, to the team of Project Managers and subcontractors.
• The Painting Project Manager manages the planning of the production activities in coordination with subcontractors and the Directors of Logistics & Project Management.

Employment Conditions and Work Environment
• Full-time position (From Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 17:00, 1-hour lunch time)
• Contract & annual salary to be discussed depending on experience and preparation
• Office location in Genoa

Desired profile
• Around 25 years old or more, having at least 1-year experience in the painting field (preferably in the yachting or naval industry or another applied scientific role)
• Education: Technical chemist qualification (or equivalent), having experience in painting field
• An excellent command of Italian, spoken and written, and possibly at least elementary level of spoken English
• Preference will be given to those who have completed a FROSIO course (or equivalent)
