Amico & Co presents Amico Marine

Amico & Co presents Amico Marine: a new brand representing an integrated system in refit and services for yachts and superyachts.

The new identity is the strategic evolution of one of the world’s leading refit shipyards, a pioneer for over 30 years in the Mediterranean in infrastructure, innovation, and reliability.

Genoa, April 27, 2026 – Amico Marine is born, the new brand that brings together under a single identity shipyards and companies active in refit, maintenance, and services dedicated to the yacht and superyacht sectors, developed through over 30 years of Amico & Co’s international activity.

The introduction of the brand marks an important evolutionary step, aimed at enhancing a structured organisation that has grown over time through the integration of expertise, infrastructure investments, and innovative services, while maintaining family values and a personalised approach to client needs at its core.

Its origins lie in Ligurian shipbuilding tradition and in the history of the Amico family, active in the maritime sector since the 18th century, which led to the founding of Amico & Co in 1991—today globally recognised as a leader in superyacht refit and maintenance and a driving force in the development of the professional yachting sector in the Port of Genoa and Liguria.

With the launch of Amico Marine, we aim to clearly and consistently represent our identity: a network of companies providing full technical and operational support to owners, crews, and managers at every stage of a superyacht’s life,” said Alberto Amico, Founder & Partner of Amico & Co. “Our operational model is based on direct and continuous relationships with clients, prioritising collaboration, planning, and process control to ensure quality, timely delivery, and cost transparency. Amico Marine embodies tradition, technical expertise, and long-term vision, strengthening our international presence and reaffirming our commitment to delivering excellence with constant attention to the client.”

Amico Marine includes, alongside the main refit activities of Amico & Co and Amico Loano—dedicated to large and very large yachts—the Gatti boatyard (recently upgraded and capable of offering high-quality standards for boats and tenders up to 30 meters), Waterfront Marina with 26 berths for yachts up to 120 metres, and Acier-Sarimi’s metalwork workshops, supporting the shipyard production cycles.

The system is completed by Amico Servizi (general services and operational coordination) and Marine Tools (specialised digital solutions for yacht management processes). Services for clients and crews are delivered through Genoa Superyacht Hub, a company managed in partnership with the Pesto Group, also engaged in territorial marketing.

The Amico Marine system represents the evolution of our strategic vision and the result of the long growth journey of Amico & Co,” said Bruno Guglielmini, CEO of Amico & Co.

“A journey characterised by continuous investment in innovation, technology, infrastructure, and human capital. By integrating shipyard operations with marina services, technical services, and the local area, we have contributed to making Genoa one of the world’s leading hubs of excellence in the sector — a position we intend to further strengthen.”
